THE WORD: The Name of the Lord is a Strong Tower
John 1:1-5
-Everything that exists in this world exists because of the power of Jesus; without him nothing came into being
Matthew 16:18-19
-These verses show us Jesus' intent to build a strong church, one that Satan will not overcome
Ephesians 1:22-23
-Many of us Christians have not yet grasped the power given in the name of Jesus
Mark 16
-In my name you will cast out demons, and when you tread on scorpions and snakes they will not harm you
-If you have the name of Jesus, who is any man to frighten you?
WHAT WE LEARN:
Let us not go to the service merely to follow the order of things, but let us go because Jesus is there and will minister to us in everything.
Through the name of Jesus we will find the answer to every matter in our lives
We are to know and to remember that the name of Jesus is the name above every name
